Yamaha teachers begin by focusing on students' listening skills and encourage them to copy what they hear. Reading the printed music comes later, providing a solid understanding based on first hand experience.

All teaching takes place in small groups with an emphasis on making learning fun and students learn on state-of-the-art Yamaha musical equipment.
